Healthcare Literacy @ the Library

Healthcare is complex.

Sometimes we all need a little help.

 Healthcare Literacy @ the Library

Saturday, April 27, 2013

10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Elizabeth Taber Library, 8 Spring Street, Marion

CEO Jane Stankiewicz and other members of the Community Nurse & Hospice Care staff will teach you to navigate the complex ins and outs of todays’ healthcare system — whether as a patient or a caregiver. Learn helpful hints for receiving the most effective healthcare in the hospital, doctor’s office, pharmacy, rehab facility and in the community. Walk away with all the tools and resources you need to be the best patient while keeping your patience.

We hope you will join us! The time to learn is in advance of the need. Staff will be available to answer all of your questions. And I hear there will be some helpful takeaway materials, great giveaways and, if the library allows, some snacks.

This presentation is offered as a community service.

Open to the public. Complimentary admission.

Bring your friends and neighbors!
