Occupational Therapy
Our team of Occupational Therapists assist patients in adjusting to their physical environments after a surgery or illness. Occupational Therapists adapt tasks and modify the environment to make patients' ability to function at home easier.
Occupational therapy services include, but are not limited to:
- Education & independence training
- Upper body/hand strength and coordination
- Monitor after splint/orthotic fabriction
- Functional adaptation of wheelchair in the home environment
- Upper and lower body self care activities
- UE strengthening and coordination training
- Prescription recommendations for adaptive equipment (commodes, tubseat, etc.)
- Energy conservation training
- Cognitive/perceptual training
