Bereavement
Community Nurse & Hospice Care provides bereavement support to members of our community who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Typically, support groups meet one night each week for six weeks. The group is open to all members of the community, regardless of whether or not you or your family have received services from us. Members can expect to receive coping techniques and share their experiences, grief, hopes, and strengths with other members in an inviting and calm environment.
For more information on support groups in your area, call Jennifer Marszalek at 508-992-6278, ext. 2531.
The Caring Tree
Young people need help in coping with the death of a loved one. They need a safe place to remember and share. Children need the adults in their lives to assist them; the adults need support too. The Caring Tree provides a nurturing environment for children and their families to heal.
The Caring Tree is a comprehensive Grief Support group for children ages 5-18 and their families. It is adapted from the Boston Medical Center's highly acclaimed and successful "Good Grief Program."
