There are so many ways to support Community Nurse Home Care. We are so thankful for all of the ways you find to show just how much Community’s services mean to you and to those for whom you care.  Recently we had some unique “out of the box” ways that people raised money.

  • Two friends from the community have recently pledged $10,000 to Community’s Memory Loss Program and challenged us to attract two other donors to make similar gifts
  • In September, the North Dartmouth Mall donated the coins from their fountain
  • Over the summer, three children had a lemonade sale and donated the proceeds in honor of their grandmother who is a Community patient
  • In 2013, a former patient asked family and friends to make a donation to Community in honor of her 80th birthday
  • In 2014, a couple directed donations from family and friends to Community in honor of their 50th anniversary
  • In 2012, a local donor offered to match gifts of $250 up to a certain amount
  • On the 20th anniversary of her mother’s death, a hospice volunteer hosted a cocktail party in her mother’s memory and asked her guests to make a donation to Community
  • This year, Community employees gave over $17,000, many from a direct payroll deduction
  • Every Christmas, the wife of a past hospice patient gives donations to Community in her friends’ honor
  • A young boy saved up all his coins over several months and presented them to the agency as a donation
  • Co-workers at various local companies choose to direct their United Way donations to Community
 Community cares for you.
Thank you for caring for Community.
