Community Nurse and Hospice Care is one of the largest providers of home health services in southeastern Massachusetts. Founded in 1916 by a group of concerned area residents and health professionals, CNHC remains a stand-alone, non-profit institution dedicated to rendering comprehensive home care, education and support to residents in southeastern Massachusetts. In 1993, CNHC went on to establish the first Medicare-certified hospice program in the area to assist patients and their families in the final stages of many types of terminal illness. Then, in 1997, CNHC opened an office dedicated to serving homebound residents with psychiatric nursing needs.

Our highly skilled nurses, therapists, social workers, home health aides and volunteers conducted more than 120,000 home care visits last year throughout southeastern Massachusetts.
